Study With a Voice Tutor on the Bus

The bus ride to school is 40 minutes of free tuition.
If you talk.
The tuition teacher who never gets annoyed
Every student has met that tuition teacher.
You ask the same question for the third time.
They sigh.
You stop asking.
Now imagine a tutor who never sighs.
You can ask the same question five times.
"Wait, explain that again."
"Simpler, please."
"Give me another example."
No judgement.
That's what voice mode can feel like when you study.
Why voice works for revision
Typing on a crowded bus is hard.
Talking is easy (with earphones, so the uncle next to you doesn't get a free biology lesson).
And talking forces you to explain things out loud, which is one of the best ways to find out what you actually understand.
Meet Priya
Priya has a science test on Friday.
Every morning on the bus, she opens voice mode and says:
Bad:
Teach me science.
Good:
I have a Class 10 science test on chemical
reactions. Ask me one question at a time.
If I get it wrong, explain why in simple
words, then ask a similar question.Forty minutes.
Twenty questions.
Zero sighs.
Try the "teach it back" trick
Here's my favourite technique:
- Ask AI to explain a topic.
- Then say, "Now let me explain it back to you. Tell me what I got wrong."
If you can teach it, you know it.
If you can't, you just found exactly what to revise.
A small warning
AI can occasionally get facts wrong.
If something sounds strange, check your textbook.
The textbook is still the final word for the exam.
Final thoughts
You don't need more hours to study.
You need to use the hours you already have.
The bus is moving anyway.
Might as well have a patient tutor on board.
Just keep the volume down for the uncle.
